Munchkins At Work
The munchkin crew was out on a beautiful Easter Sunday for a little paleontology and some onion planting.
The “paleontology” was actually a way to rid the field of its biggest, rototiller-busting rocks. The kids, armed with shovels, were searching for the biggest “fossils” they could find. They found quite a few! I foresee lots of fossil hunting practice for these kids this year… Maybe we’ll have to start rewarding them occasionally with a trip to the ice cream shop.
The onion planting will become a very regular occurrance out of necessity. During my trip to Rocky Mountain Seed Company in Denver, I was lured by the incredible bulk price break into buying more onion sets than I’ll need. Either that or my math is really bad. Actually, it’s probably both. In any case. We have onions. Do we ever have onions.
