Your photos on your site are fantastic. My first look at your site was the magnificient hoop house under snow. I got hooked and read every blog enrty you have. I learned alot, especially how to make a vacum operated seeder. Nice contraption! Till now I had a dream of having a big garden such as yours and growing to my hearts content. I'm not so sure bigger is better after learning the trials and tribulations your family and crew have gone threw, not to ignore your great acoplishments. Thank you for the education and entertaiment you have giving me in the wee hours of the night. I live in northfield a northern suburb of chicago,Illinois. I have a small condo with a smaller patio that I grow tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets, about 40 in total. I'm definatley a tomato fanatic. Mostly heirlooms and a few hybrids for insurance from pest and desease. My garden is not completely organic, but close enough for me. Last summer the weather was terrible here for tomatoes. I usually can two cases of qt mason jars for the winter, not one jar this winter. Last night we recieved our first inch of snow and more is on its way tomorrow. Wish I had a hoophouse. The area you live in is extremly beautiful. I am really jealous. I have spent a summer in Grand lake and have an aunt and uncle who live in Estes Park and have traveled many times to that region of colorado.
